The NROC Project
We invite you to join us in making quality educational resources for everyone to share.
About The NROC Project (NROC)
A national non-profit impacting college & career readiness
Back in 2003, we set out to create a repository of high-quality online courses and make them open and accessible to everyone. Over ten years later, NROC has become a movement.
NROC (pronounced "en-rock") is a community-guided, non-profit project focused on new models of digital content development, distribution, and use. We are education leaders from state and system institutions nationwide who represent more than 6 million U.S. students from middle school to college. NROC is emblematic of an approach defined by four shared beliefs:
Everyone benefits when institutions work together.
People are empowered by high-quality, multimedia content and applications.
Membership keeps costs low for institutions, and free for individuals.
College & Career
We're committed to helping students pursue academic and life success.
NROC Content & Applications
Content developed by The NROC Project is available to individuals free-of-charge at HippoCampus.org. Institutions who contribute to the project through membership gain deeper access to the NROC course library and can work together with NROC staff to customize applications for use in an institutional setting.
